  • What is the difference between polyresin, polyclad, and composite?

These are different materials used to build our shutters and each comes with their own set of benefits. Polyresin is a durable vinyl plastic used in our AllView shutters. Polyclad is a mix of wood and polyresin and used in our ShutterSMART line of shutters. The inside of the shutter is hardwood which is inserted into a polyresin sleeve. Composite is High Density Fiber and means we cut up wood into tiny pieces and compress those fibers together to make an even stronger form of wood. Instead of coating these shutters in paint, we complete them with a poly coating for added durability and longevity.

  • What is "UV protection"?

All our shutters protect against damaging ultraviolet radiation that enter your home through your windows. By installing shutters, you can protect your flooring, walls, and furniture from fading and damaging over time.

  • What happens if my shutters reduce in quality over time?
